About Me
Hi, my name is Ellen and I'm a registered Clinical Psychologist. I have a particular interest in attachment-related and personality-related difficulties, and I use a trauma-informed lens in my therapeutic work. I am passionate about breaking the stigma around personality disorders and seeks to help my clients develop healthy relationships. This includes building healthier family, social, and professional dynamics. I believe that the vehicle of any effective psychological treatment is the therapeutic relationship that you have with your psychologist. As such, I place utmost importance on the relationship that I have with my clients and to advocate for my clients' needs. My therapeutic style is a warm, compassionate, yet a challenging one, which aims to create growth in a safe and non-judgemental space. I work primarily with CBT, EMDR, DBT, Schema, ACT, and Emotion-focused framework with a psychodynamically-informed lens. Please do not hesitate to get in touch.
