About Me

I live in the beautiful Barossa Valley in South Australia and have over 20years experience in the field of psychology, first as a university researcher and tutor, then as a registered psychologist in the disability and private sectors, and have been in my own private practice for 12 years. I am a life long learner, who enjoys delving into the latest research and therapeutic techniques that can help to support people to live their best lives. My clients tell me I’m easy to talk to, and that I provide a safe and compassionate space where they feel heard and understood. My aim is to develop a good foundation of trust and, from there, work towards the life choices you would like to achieve. I have a keen interest in neurodevelopmental psychology and have previously worked for many years with children, teens and families. While I am still passionate about supporting parents and caregivers, I also enjoy working with adults, young and not so young, who are experiencing difficult times such as grief, stressful work environments, life transitions, and those who have experienced trauma (eg. childhood, MVA, DV, etc) As someone who has also worked extensively in the disability sector, I enjoy working with NDIS participants, and providing functional and behavioural assessments and comprehensive reports for individuals looking to gain access to the NDIS, or who are seeking a review or change of circumstances to their NDIS plan. I look forward to supporting you along life's journey of contrasts.
