About Me
Hi, I am Tim. I am a Clinical Psychologist based in Carlton Victoria. I work with a diverse range of clients, including those experiencing depression, anxiety, PTSD, complex trauma, personality disorders (including borderline personality disorder), and complex mood conditions. My primary therapeutic approaches include schema therapy, EMDR, acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness-based stress reduction. I believe in a holistic and collaborative approach, with a strong emphasis on the building a shared understanding of your challenges, to ensure we’re aligned on what may be occurring and how best to proceed. I tailor treatment to each individual, as therapy is never one-size-fits-all. My focus is on building a supportive, understanding therapeutic relationship to help you achieve your unique goals in a way that feels right for you. I offer a compassionate, warm, and non-judgmental space where we work together to understand your challenges. I have experience working with diverse clients, including young adults, older adults, First Nations, and LGBTQIA+ communities. I offer appointments in Carlton and via Telehealth. Outside of the therapy room I enjoy spending time with my two German Shepherds, Kiri and Emma (who occasionally can make guest appearances), reading, attending local markets, camping, and spending time with friends and family.
