About Me

I am an experienced Clinical Psychologist who helps individuals struggling with eating disorders, body image issues, and their relationship to food, including binge eating. I work with clients who are ready to overcome their inner critic and the habits that keep them stuck. I also support people who are trapped in patterns of unhealthy relationships, anxiety, perfectionism, self-criticism and chronic unhappiness, guiding them towards a new, healthier path. While I am a therapist, I am a human first and I believe that therapy shouldn’t be formal or scary. I bring my unique human nature to my sessions so that you can connect, feel comfortable and be brave enough to be genuine and imperfectly human too, without the fear of judgement. I gently explore how past traumas, and negative experiences show up in the challenges you face today, and then work with you to help heal from these past hurts so that you can develop new patterns in life and relationships, learn how to meet your own needs, and move towards a more fulfilled life. I tailor my sessions to you and work with a number of modalities including Schema Therapy to address recurring mental health difficulties and past traumas, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and evidence-based interventions for Eating Disorders. Lisa aligns with the Health at Every Size (HAES) approach and practices within a weight inclusive framework. Outside of therapy, I love cooking, the beach, animals and have a soft spot for dogs. I welcome you to book online today.
