About Me
Research shows that the therapeutic relationship (e.g., how well you get along with your psychologist) can be just as important as the work we do together. I think therapy should not be rigid and I try to emulate that. I have a very open and relaxed manner that I hope will allow you to feel comfortable in describing your situation. Pawfessor Morty (a Hungarian Vizsla) has now joined the therapy team, and he looks forward to helping you feel warm and welcomed too! I'm a published men's mental health author and currently doing a PhD at Monash University, investigating how Buddhism and Western psychology deals with negative emotions. Additionally, I am a university-trained naturopath who has lectured in the southern hemisphere’s largest natural medicine college, Endeavour. Please check out my website to see if we are a good fit for each other.
