About Me

After a long business career I made the transition to psychology to follow my passion to help people. I bring extensive life and corporate experience as a father, senior manager, expatriate and business owner. These experiences help me to understand and empathise with each clients unique journey. I work collaboratively with my clients to help them overcome personal challenges and regain and build the skills to support their future well-being. At 'A place of Peace', my approach is rooted in creating a safe and empathetic space for individuals to explore their inner experiences. I believe in a client-centered approach, tailoring my therapeutic interventions to meet the unique needs of each person. My goal is to foster a collaborative and empowering environment where clients can embark on a journey of self-discovery and healing. I work with NDIS Plan & Self Managed Clients, Mental Health Care Plan referral and Direct Clients. I have worked with a broad range of clients from culturally, linguistically and neurologically diverse backgrounds within the NDIS for the past several years assisting my clients with a range of psychological difficulties including: anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem issues, relationship difficulties, grief and loss, adjustment difficulties, career and life transitions and post traumatic stress disorder. I look forward to meeting with you and helping you on your journey. Kind Regards, John Ubert
