About Me

A clinical psychology registrar, Denis is a warm and non-judgemental psychologist with a strengths-based, client-centred, and neuro-affirming approach. Denis draws on a range of therapeutic modalities including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing and Compassion Focused Therapy. Denis has worked with people from all backgrounds and stages of life in both private practice, the public health system, and university sectors, including the Royal Children's Hospital and the University of Melbourne. He aims to provide a safe space for clients to feel heard and seen, and develop tools to face common challenges including generalised and social anxiety, depression, perfectionism,and procrastination; panic attacks and phobias; identity exploration; cultural adjustment; challenges with emotional and behavioral regulation; loneliness; shame; grief and loss; finding meaning and direction; interpersonal, family, and/or relationship difficulties; and work, family, or academic stress.
