About Me
Practising since 2004, I am a clinical psychologist working with adults, adolescents and couples, with expertise in anxiety & depression, trauma & abuse, gender & sexuality issues, relationship difficulties, substance use, post-traumatic stress and eating disorders. I worked in senior clinical roles earlier in my career at The University of Melbourne, Headspace and Orygen Youth Health. I am experienced in working with peopIe in regard to gender transition and during gender-affirming care. I provide psychoanalytic treatment, as well as supervise colleagues and students, and work with complex presentations. I hold a Bachelor of Science, Graduate Diploma in Psychology, and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, and have undertaken further psychoanalytic training over a number of years. I have delivered post-graduate training at The University of Melbourne, lectured to clinical Masters students at The Cairnmillar Institute, and published papers on psychotherapy. My therapeutic approach can involve working through your problems, addressing what inhibits you from pursuing what you want in your life, and finding new ways to relate to yourself and others. It can also be a way of examining key questions that you have. This, in turn, can open up new possibilities in your life.
