About Me
Meet Kylie Hi, Iām Kylie ā a registered psychologist. I work with individuals and couples who are navigating emotional pain, relationship challenges, trauma, or patterns that feel difficult to shift. I understand how experiences of disconnection, conflict, or broken trust can shape how we see ourselves, relate to others, and move through the world. My clinical background includes published research in coercive control and emotional regulation, as well as advisory work in domestic and family violence. These areas continue to inform my understanding of how relational harm and survival-based coping strategies can emerge and how they can be gently healed. I support people who are working through trauma recovery, anxiety, depression, domestic and family violence, relational stress, or identity-related challenges. I also work with couples who are feeling stuck in repeating patterns ā perhaps communication has become tense, emotional closeness feels difficult, or old wounds continue to resurface. My approach is trauma-informed and attachment-focused. I draw on Schema Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the Gottman Method, and other evidence-based models to support meaningful and sustainable change. I also hold space for the personal values, cultural background, and (when relevant) faith perspectives that shape how people make meaning in their lives and relationships. I aim to provide a calm, steady, and collaborative space to explore your experiences ā without judgement or pressure. A space where you can understand your story more deeply, strengthen connection, and move toward healing in a way that feels grounded and true to you. Whether you are seeking to rebuild trust, make sense of your past, or feel more connected in your relationships, you are welcome.
