About Me

Hello, I am Natasha, a registered psychologist and the founder of Graciously You Psychological Services, established in April 2020. I created this practice to offer you more choice and the flexibility to fit appointments around your life, no matter where you live in Australia. My hope is that this virtual space helps you connect with a practitioner who feels like a good fit for you. I primarily work with women and teenage girls who want to improve their relationship with themselves and begin shaping their lives in a way that feels more aligned with their values. We do this together using a whole‑body approach, recognising how your mind, body and nervous system all interact. We explore your lifestyle, present circumstances, past experiences including trauma, and where you want to be. My approach is practical and I provide tools to experiment with between sessions. I support people experiencing anxiety, stress, trauma, depression, low self-esteem and confidence concerns, PTSD, unwanted memories, ADHD, tic disorders and Tourette syndrome, relationship and friendship challenges, motivation difficulties, life transitions and related concerns. I also offer neurodiversity‑affirming therapy that recognises and values the unique strengths and needs of each individual, including women with ADHD. How I Support You If you were to ask what it's like to meet with me online, I'd say I aim to be curious, supportive, warm and empathetic, with a touch of humour at times. Your story matters, and we work at your pace, with you only sharing what feels comfortable for you. Where possible, you'll meet with the same psychologist (me) each session, supporting continuity and trust. Sessions often include gentle exploration of your present experiences and relevant past events, practical tools to try between sessions, and consideration of how sleep, movement, environment, relationships and routine interact with mental health. I spend time understanding your current concerns, strengths and hopes for therapy, so that you can be actively involved in decisions about your care. My training and approach To support you, I draw on my experience working with a diverse range of people across private practice, employment, paediatric (ADHD) and educational settings. I use a collaborative approach and integrate therapies I'm trained in, such as CBT, ACT, EMDR, DBT and CBiT, together with mindfulness, self‑compassion, transformational chairwork, and body‑based skills from sensorimotor psychotherapy, as well as my understanding of the brain, neuroplasticity, and the role of lifestyle factors in mental health. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Comprehensive Behavioural Intervention for Tics (CBiT), and I am passionate about increasing access to these evidence‑based treatments via telehealth for people who do not have local services or who face long wait times to receive support. I am a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc (AAPi) and a full member of the EMDR Association of Australia (EMDRAA). Through my work with clients over the years, I have observed that exploring and processing emotions, rather than avoiding or outrunning them, can support meaningful change. If you feel I may be a psychologist who could walk alongside you, I would welcome the opportunity to support you with what you are experiencing now, and to work with you toward the vision you have for yourself at this time in your life. Telehealth and access Appointments are available via secure video (Zoom) or phone, allowing you to attend from home, work or another private space that suits your circumstances. Sessions are generally 50 minutes and follow the same professional and confidentiality standards as in‑person psychology. Graciously You offers Medicare‑rebated sessions (with a valid Mental Health Treatment Plan), private telehealth appointments, and sessions for NDIS self‑managed and plan‑managed participants. I see clients across all Australian states and territories, including major cities and many regional and rural towns, supporting those who may have limited local options or who prefer the privacy and convenience of online care.
