ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS - Emily has a strong interest in supporting both children and adults who have suffered sexual abuse as well as individuals with trauma-related presentations, including PTSD and complex trauma. Additionally, she works with neurodevelopmental disorders like Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and a range of anxiety and mood disorders such as anxiety, depression, personality disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, and Bipolar Disorder. She offers psychological assessments for clients of all ages and presentations (e.g., ADHD, ASD, personality, intellectual, etc.). Emily tailors her therapeutic interventions to meet the unique needs of each client, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Attachment-Based Therapy. Emily is a Clinical Psychologist Registrar with a therapeutic approach grounded in empathy, intentionality, and the development of a strong therapeutic alliance built on trust and rapport.
