About Me
I am a Credentialed Mental Health Nurse (CMHN) by discipline with 10+ years of experience working in public settings such as adult and adolescent psychiatric inpatient units, emergency/crisis services, community rehabilitation facilities, community outpatient clinics, and co-occurring substance and mental health issues. I offer talking therapy formed around the needs and desires of clients, determined case by case. This involves a selection or combination of, assessment/care planning, supportive counselling, targeted psychotherapy, analysis, family therapy, psycho-eduction and coordinated psychotherapeutic interventions for those with a lived experience of psychotic disorders such as schizophrenia. I can provide secondary consultation, group supervision, and care coordination for complex cases, particularly receiving NDIS support. I am a practitioner of Lacanian Psychoanalysis receiving training through the Freudian School of Melbourne, School of Lacanian Psychoanalysis where I am a member. I also provide clinical supervision for mental health professionals.
