About Me

Dr Shikha Gray (PhD) works with individuals and couples struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Drawing from psychodynamic therapy as a foundational approach, Shikha helps clients gain in depth understanding of relational patterns and emotional responses, empowering them to break unhelpful cycles and foster healthier connections. Shikha is also trained in a number of modalities and uses these flexibly depending on client needs and preferences: CBT, ACT, EFT (Emotion-Focused Therapy), ERP (specialised for OCD), Gottman’s Method and IFS. Shikha is committed to providing compassionate and nurturing care. She cares deeply about creating a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings. She seeks to grasp and honour the unique story and perspective each individual or couple brings to therapy. Combining a strong foundation in her education in MPsych(Couns)/PhD with a focus on evidence-based practices, Shikha offers clients both deep psychological insight and practical tools for growth. When not in session, Shikha enjoys teaching counselling to University students, and engaging in Psychology research.
