About Me

Hello, my name is Jacob, and alongside my therapy dog, Wattle, we are Heart and Hound Psychology. I was raised in country NSW before I completed my undergraduate at the University of Wollongong, then moved to Sydney to pursue my Master’s in Clinical Psychology at the University of Technology Sydney. I have now lived in Sydney for 5 years and have fallen in love with the city. I understand that therapy can be a daunting experience, which is why I strive to deliver a friendly and approachable service that is tailored to your needs. I utilise a wide range of different therapy modalities, and I have experience with an extensive range of mental health concerns. I always strive to offer a bespoke experience, ensuring that you receive a personalised service. I am also currently pursuing my doctorate with the University of Sydney in the clinical impacts of cyber identity theft and scams, to help build a better understanding of how to support victims of these crimes. I recently presented a poster at the CyPsy27 conference in Sydney.
