About Me
I took a winding road to be where I am today, and I hope my clients benefit from my belief that there are many ways to reach a destination. I really think people are wonderfully courageous, and I try to hold that mirror up for clients to see. I enjoy working with a broad range of concerns and collaborating with my clients to tailor treatment to their unique needs and goals. I work with young adults, adults, couples, and parents/carers. My counselling approach blends proven therapeutic models—such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), and Solution-Focused Therapy—with progress monitoring and a feedback-informed approach. In practice, that means taking the time to get to know you and understand what’s been happening in your life. From there, I support you to build the skills and strategies needed to reach the goals you define, while regularly checking in to make sure you're getting what you need. The ultimate aim is to help you feel more empowered and able to live the life you want to lead. Beyond individual therapy, I have experience responding to critical incidents in workplaces, delivering training to organisations, vocational counselling, and providing drug and alcohol counselling. I am a registered Psychologist based in Bundoora VIC, providing session in person, online, or over the phone.
