About Me

Practising since 2008, I am a clinical psychologist working with adults, adolescents and couples, with particular expertise in depression & anxiety, trauma, substance use, relationships, complex presentations, and gender & sexuality issues. Previously, I was the Head of Clinical Practice at The Cairnmillar Institute, and a senior psychologist in adult public mental health at Mercy Health in Footscray. I work in full-time private practice in my rooms in Carlton and am experienced in working with people regarding gender transition and during gender-affirming care. I hold a Bachelor of Arts (Honours), Master of Psychology (Clinical) and PhD from The University of Melbourne. I provide psychoanalytic treatment. This is an approach that can involve working through your problems, assisting you to pursue what you want in your life, and developing new ways of relating to yourself and others. It can also be a way of examining key questions that you have about your life. I provide a non-judgmental and confidential space in which to discuss your concerns, and we can discuss how to best work together. My approach is to work with you at your pace as your treatment unfolds over time. My fees are on a sliding scale and can be discussed upon enquiry. I also provide clinical supervision, have written and delivered the psychoanalytic therapy unit to clinical Masters students at The Cairnmillar Institute, and am experienced in delivering AHPRA supervisor training to fellow psychologists. I am available to provide treatment and supervision and can be contacted via phone or email.
