About me

Lua (she/her) is a queer, bi-cultural therapist providing individual therapy for LGBTQIA+ people & allies who are navigating Anxiety, Burnout, Trauma, Relationship Challenges, Transitions and Big Life Changes. If you’re feeling overwhelmed – disconnected – or questioning identity and belonging, therapy can provide a space to slow down, make sense of what is happening and get support & clarity to move towards a life that feels more aligned again. While I integrate many different evidence-based therapeutic approaches into my work, therapy with my is collaborative and adjusted to suit your needs and therapeutic goals.

Due to my own lived experience, I have a particular interest in supporting LGBTQIA+ people & those navigating culture/belonging, trauma and relationships. Therapy with me offers a space to explore your own feelings, build clarity and self-understanding, and develop new skills that will bring more compassion into your relationship with yourself and others.

Finding the right counsellor is a big part of any therapy journey. To see if my approach is a good fit for your needs & goals, I offer brief connection calls that can be booked in at a time that work for you. I currently offer in-person and telehealth therapy sessions on Wednesdays between 9am – 6pm and some other hours/days by appointment
