Hi, I’m Cadie!

I’m a clinical psychologist and the person behind Stone by Stone Psychology.

I offer online services for emerging adults navigating the in between spaces. Maybe you’re adjusting to a new role, wrestling with perfectionism, feeling stuck, or trying to understand who you are and who you want to become. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where you can explore.

I’ve worked across non-for-profit, private and public government services, and private organisations, and something I kept seeing – over and over – was how hard it is to find your footing in adulthood. Whether it’s adjusting to the workplace, figuring out who you are outside of school, university or home, navigating dating and relationships, exploring gender, sexuality, or trying to manage the weight of perfectionism or burnout, it can all feel so uncertain.

My work is grounded in a strengths-based, positive psychology approach that draws on a range of evidence-based therapies, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT). I have training in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) Level 1 and Schema Therapy Level 1. I also incorporate mindfulness-based practices, such as grounding, breathwork, and guided imagery, to support emotional regulation, mindfulness, and a deeper connection to self. My approach is trauma-informed and influenced by polyvagal theory, which means I pay close attention to nervous system regulation, safety, and the body’s role in healing.

I have experience working with neurodivergence, am kink-friendly, and welcome individuals living any form of lifestyle that feels most genuine to them.

Most importantly, my focus is on building a safe and trusting relational space for you to drop the expectations, take pause, and reflect – it is in our development of self-awareness that we find the courage to build a life that feels meaningful to us.
