About me
As a psychologist, I feel privileged to support individuals as they navigate the complex and often painful experiences that bring them to therapy. I view therapy as a process of self‑exploration and learning. In our work together, I provide a safe and containing space where clients can process their thoughts and emotions, develop insight, and build the confidence, purpose, and hope needed to move through the world more effectively. I also help clients strengthen skills for managing discomfort, pain, uncertainty, and fear, supporting meaningful change and an improved sense of well‑being.
Drawing on a range of theoretical frameworks and evidence‑based approaches, my areas of special interest include assessment (cognitive, specific learning disorder, behavioral, ADHD, Autism), parenting support, professional training and development, learning difficulties, behavioral challenges, trauma, depression, grief, anxiety, autism spectrum disorder, and ADHD. I also work with clients experiencing relationship difficulties, separation and divorce, life transitions, and the psychological impact of medical conditions.
Beginning therapy is an act of courage. Adverse experiences can make it difficult to access the parts of ourselves that are resourceful, adaptive, and capable. Through a warm, compassionate, and honest therapeutic relationship, I offer practical strategies to enhance psychological well‑being and strengthen coping mechanisms, supporting clients to reconnect with their strengths and move forward with greater resilience.
